Signed on the page, not on paper
Your client signs the proposal where they read it, typed or drawn, on any device. You both keep a certificate of who signed, when, and exactly what they accepted.
From sent to signed
No printing, scanning or attachments going back and forth.
Send the proposal
By email under your name, or as a link. The signature step is already at the end of the page.
Your client signs
After choosing any options you left open, they type or draw their signature, tick that they read your agreement if you attached one, agree to sign electronically, and accept.
Both of you keep the record
The signed PDF ends with a signature certificate and a SHA-256 fingerprint. Either side can download it at any time, and your client can have a copy emailed.
Your own agreement, signed with it
Attach the service agreement you already use, as text or a PDF. Your client reads it on the proposal page and accepts it with the same signature, so nothing is signed separately.
Names, times and fingerprints are examples. Text up to 30,000 characters, or a PDF up to 4 MB without a password, on every plan.
What the signature includes
The signing step and the record it leaves behind.
Type it or draw it
Your client types their name and it is set as a signature, or draws one with a finger, pen or mouse. On a phone, a tablet or a computer, with no account and nothing to install.
Consent before signing
Before the button works, your client ticks a box agreeing to sign electronically, and a second one saying they read your agreement if you attached one. The exact wording they agreed to is kept with the signature.
A SHA-256 fingerprint
Worked out from what was accepted, your agreement if there is one, both parties, the signer's details and the signature. Any later change to the record gives a different fingerprint.
A signature certificate
The signed PDF ends with a certificate page: who signed and how, when it was sent and signed, IP and browser, the consent wording, the title and fingerprint of your agreement if there is one, and the fingerprint of the whole record, checked again each time the PDF is made.
A copy for your client
Your client can ask for a signed copy by email as they sign. It links to the signed proposal and shows the same fingerprint.
Locked once signed
Once signed, the accepted lines, the total, your agreement, the signature and its record are locked. Nobody can edit them from PropoBox, and the fingerprint would show a change made any other way.
